Picture the scene: One day, just like many others, you take your kayak out on the water. Maybe you’ve grown a handsome silver goatee beard, and changed our name to Eddie, but outside of that, all is pretty much normal.
But then, without warning, a pod of Humpback Whales suddenly beach right beneath you kayak. What are the chances, eh?
Well, that’s exactly what happened to handsome silver goatee owner Eddie Willis. Willis was paddling out on Half moon Bay, south of San Francisco in California when he got up-close-and-personal with some of the largest, and most majestic creatures in the sea.
Luckily, our Eddie remained calm (and, let’s face it, he’d have been forgiven for shitting himself, given how close he was to ending up like Moby Dick), and managed to capture the incredible moment on his GoPro, mounted on the oars of his kayak.
