Everyone stop what you’re doing, immediately. The greatest news story in history has finally arrived. Seriously. This, right here, is the pinnacle of journalism as we know it. You might as well as confront the reality that it’s all downhill from here, rather than kid yourself that a better story might be just around the corner.
What’s the story then? The story, and we can’t quite believe we’re writing this, is that there’s an extremely rare white giraffe in Tanzania that some people think looks a bit like David Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust phase.

Omo is a 15-month-old female giraffe who lives in Tarangire National Park. She has an extremely rare condition called leucism. This gives her white skin and a partial loss in pigmentation.
Nobody seems to know whether Omo can write songs like Bowie, but wildlife experts have commented that the other giraffes have been extremely accepting of her unusual appearance.
At the start of this year, music legend David Bowie passed away at the age of 69.
