In a nutshell, Radiohead are an English rock band from Oxfordshire that were formed in 1985.  Fronted by Thom Yorke, their 1997 album OK Computer is widely considered to be one of the greatest LPs ever recorded.

Radiohead are renowned for pushing boundaries, and experimenting both musically and lyrically. The fans love them, the critics love them, and to quote Ron Burgundy they’re “…kind of a big deal.”
