Last night, Cam Zink landed an absolutely monster 100 foot backflip!
The flip, measured at a precise 100 feet and three inches, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest dirt-to-dirt mountain bike backflip ever completed.
“This is just the beginning…”
The jump smashes the previous 78 foot record, also held by Zink, although that one wasn’t officially measured by the World Record folks at Guinness. This one definitely was, and immortalizes Cam as the first man to have gone upside-down that far on dirt.
It appears that Cam still has his sight set on going even further! Moments after the mammoth backflip, he told reporters “This is just the beginning… One day, maybe 150, 200 [feet], who knows”.
We cannot wait.
