For snowboarders and skiers, we’re in that annoying dawn-like time of year where winter is coming up on the horizon but not yet close enough to shred. So we have to make do with scrolling through all the new product we want to buy but can’t afford and more excitingly getting stoked on trailers for this season’s big movies.

This includes Rip Curl’s The Search: Revel which has just dropped. The full film is out in December. It stars Victor De Le Rue, Sam Favret, Nils Arvidsson, Emilien Badoux, Nate Johnstone, Jessy Cornu and more. And boasts a soulrider backcountry focus with steep Alaskan spines, deep powder turns, snowboarding, skiing and, erm, riding a surfboard on snow. And it makes us super excited for winter. Oh yes it does.

And if you’ve ever wondered what those gnarly spines look like from a rider POV, here’s a still from the trailer. You’re basically looking at a vertical drop with extreme waterslide vibes. Yikes.
