The BBC Ski Sunday presenter Ed Leigh is spending a winter season out in Verbier this year, from where he’ll be sending back regular missives for Mpora.
Episode One of this exclusive series, the Mountain of Knowledge, sees Ed interviewing mountain guide Bertrand Martenet about how to stay alive in an avalanche and the introduction of a mysterious (and hilarious) snowboarder known as Monsieur Poudreuse.
In classic Ed Leigh style there are also a typically bizarre sections of “local knowledge from the farmer” and a brief (very brief) cameo appearance from his Ski Sunday co-presenter Graham Bell. In his briefs.
