What has two legs, a blue coat, a European passport and catapults itself off cliffs?

The headline tells you all you need to know about this one – there’s a group of BASE jumpers who have just built a catapult to help them fly off cliffs.

The video comes from the ‘Flying Frenchies‘, and we’re more than happy to report that it’s only the trailer for a full-length production to come.

The BASE jumper featured is Tancrede Melet, a crazy-ass parachutist who was recently in the news for leaping off tightropes.

Melet is now back with this angry-birds inspired project, and it looks like it may just be his funnest to date. Stay tuned for word on when the full thing is dropping.
