This Austrian Track Is So Technical That A Parachute Might Be More Useful Than A Helmet.

There are steep mountain bike trails and there are suicidal mountain bike trails, and the track featured in the footage above fits firmly into the latter.

The man on the bike is Johannes Pistrol and the ride is the Steinerne Rinne from Goinger Halt, in the Austrian Alps.

By the end of the footage, Johannes is navigating his way down death-defying angles…

While it starts off slightly steep, by the end of the footage, Johannes is navigating his way down death-defying angles on a line that could easily end his life if he took. This is some seriously technical terrain.

Fair play to the mountain biker for what can only be described as some daredevil riding. Would you give this gnarly trail a shot?
