Ever so often, something comes along that’s so unbelievably epic it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. This incredible high-definition time-lapse made up of 95,600 NASA photos taken from the International Space Station is one of those things.

The whole video took a month to edit, and is constructed from over 100 Gigabytes of original material. Dmitry Pisanko, a Russian photo blogger, selected four minutes of highlights and put it with a classical music score by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi. The resulting masterpiece immediately brings to mind Stanley Kubrick’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’.

If this short film doesn’t give you all the feels, check your pulse because you might be dead. That, or you’ve had your heart replaced by a bag of gravel. Pisanko, you rascal, you and Einaudi have gone and made us all emotional.
