This shocking video emerged online yesterday, showing a heartless hiker luring an unsuspecting squirrel to the edge of the Grand Canyon with a trail of breadcrumbs… and then booting it off the edge!
“I do not know who they are, all I know is that they were French.”
The “stunt” was apparently deliberately planned – you can see the hiker’s friend taking photos in the background – but the original video was uploaded by someone who had nothing to do with it.
Jonathan Hildebrand told the Independent that he “did not realise what was happening until it was too late”.
He added: “I do not know who they are, all I know is that they were French.”
According to the local authorities if they were caught, the men could face charges that carry a maximum penalty of 6 months in prison or a $5,000 fine.
But how do you go about finding two men with a penchant for animal cruelty in the nation that invented Foie Gras?
