Surfing is hard enough when you’ve both arms and legs, let alone when you’re a triple amputee.

Martin Pollock lost both his legs and his left arm while deployed in Afghanistan with the British Army. It was only after his accident that he discovered surfing and fell in love with it, according to the Santa Maria Times.

Now, he’s ripping around Hawaii on his board – and he’s been nominated for the GoPro of the World award for the individual person who captures the best individual GoPro clip between November and March 2015.

The winner gets a whopping $20,000! Pollock definitely trumps the list, if you ask us! Watch his inspirational clip above…
