Watch: This Insane Downhill Run Just Wrote Greg Minnaar into Mountain Biking History‏

Does this stunning win make Minnaar the most successful mountain biker ever?

South African legend Greg Minnaar has just written his name into the two-wheeled history books – becoming the most successful male downhill mountain biker in the history of the UCI World Cup.

The 33-year-old equalled Santa Cruz Syndicate teammate Steve Peat’s record 17-wins when he took the top spot at Fort William last month, the fifth time he had popped champagne in the sun* (*read rain) of the Scottish highlands.

Some may have thought that Fort Bill win was just a bit of luck, and although most were too smart to say it out loud, Greg’s now put it beyond doubt by winning the first ever World Cup in Lenzeheide, Switzerland last weekend, cementing his place as the greatest male downhill rider ever in the process.
