Even at the best of times, surfing can be extremely difficult. Not everyone, it would seem, is happy with the difficulty level on offer however. Step forward: Mr Jamie O’Brien, a man who just surfed one of the world’s heaviest waves…while on fire.
Teahupo’o, of Tahiti, is the surf spot where O’Brien made this insane dream a reality. There’s not much else to say about it because, let’s face it, mere words can’t really do justice to a flaming ridiculous stunt such as this. You just need to watch it, and let the moving images do the talking.
