This Amazing Tiny Wilderness Cabin Is Designed To Make You Spend More Time Outdoors

Is this the future of adventurous holidays?

The freedom of camping, but with the comforts of home – That’s how this new company, started by two Harvard grads have described their secret wilderness houses.

The company builds 160-square-foot tiny houses in the Massachusetts woods with a big difference.

They’re open to everyone, but their exact location is top secret.

Once guests arrive, they’re lost in the wilderness. With no way to walk into the town or pop to the shops, they have no option but to chill out and enjoy nature.

“We really want you to do nothing at all” say the staff at Getaway.

“It’s far enough that you can feel disconnected, but near enough that you don’t spend all your time getting there.

“Sit, eat, sleep, curl up, lean, do work, and hang.”

This ‘into the wild’ escapism, coupled with comfortable surroundings is something new.

The houses are tiny and their design is quirky and minimal. Furniture is not considered a necessity, but speakers in the wooden walls definitely are.

This design has one purpose, to make the indoors comfortable, but to make guests want to be outdoors more than they are in.

The company say that they want to change how people holiday by offering “a simpler life, being friendlier to the environment, financial security, self-sufficiency, and lots of adventure.”

We’ve seen a lot of tiny cabins here at Mpora, but this is something different.

Perhaps Getaway have found the secret of the perfect adventure holiday, by simply making a house that gets you excited to get out your front door.
