What Is Dynamic Stretching?

How does dynamic stretching differ from static and, most importantly, when to use them

As opposed to traditional static stretches – which are held in position – dynamic stretching uses movement to get muscles prepared for activities they’ll be performing in your workout.

The latest research shows that dynamic stretching is the best way to stretch before exercise as it can increase power and reduce your chance of injury.

Dynamic stretching increases your heart rate and temperature and puts your body through the range of movement it is going to perform during your session.
