What makes him worth a follow?
The Body Coach (Joe Wicks) has shot to Insta-fame over the past year with his unique brand of fun, quick, and (most importantly) healthy videos.
Using the hashtag #leanin15, Joe’s free vids, each under 20 seconds long, show how to make tasty, nutritious meals – fast! Easy to follow, and amusing to boot, the nutrition coach’s Instagram clips have proved so popular that he now has a 90 day fat loss plan followed by people around the world.
Post-workout protein pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 tbsp Lucy Bee coconut oil
- 25g rolled oats
- Greek yoghurt, blueberries and raspberries, to serve
- Squeeze of honey to taste
Method
- Whizz up the banana, protein powder, egg and oats in a blender to make your batter.
- Heat up half the coconut oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Pour little puddles of batter into the pan – I usually get 3 pancakes, with about half the batter in the pan at once.
- Cook for about 1 minute on each side. Remove and repeat the process with the rest of the batter.
- Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and a few fresh berries.
