For April our long reads are all about the money. We speak to Eddie the Eagle, a true working class hero who tells us he was shunned by the skiing establishment as much for his non-posh background as his perceived lack of ability. We go on an affordable powder quest to Slovakia and ask whether Verbier can ever be cheap. We ditch public transport and walk-commute our way around London to save some cash, and we restore a surfboard from scratch.
