We hope you’ve not got much planned this week. We had a really busy week planned, with all sorts of meetings and deadlines scheduled into the diary, but that diary has now been tossed in the fireplace and left to burn. We didn’t really have a choice in the matter.
See, we don’t have much will power over here at Mpora. Or not when it comes to choosing a desk over a mountain bike anyway.
After watching the trailer for upcoming Anthill Films feature ‘unReal’, we were super stoked to ride, and now this tear-jerkingly beautiful new edit from Dylan Dunkerton and Chris Robinson of the Coastal Crew has dropped, the only option left is to pack our backs, tell our landlords we’re not coming back, and go and set up camp in the mountains. Forever.
It goes without saying that the Coastal Crew are mountain biking kings. They’re always great to watch – even if the crew is a man down on this one with Kyle Norbraten missing.
They make gnarly trails look like kids work time and time again, always capture it with stunning cinematography, and on this occasion, they’ve chucked a classical soundtrack in there which left us reaching for the tissues.
The natural sounds of the trails and the bikes, the sweet, sweet dirt, the style… You definitely shouldn’t watch this if you’ve got a lot of work to do. But we know if you’re reading this that it’s already too late, isn’t it? You’ve already pressed play. And you’re currently carrying your bike out to the car as the final lines of this article lie forever unread.
Oh well. Can’t say we didn’t warn you. And seeing as you’re never going to see this part of the article, we should probably tell you that your haircut is sh*t. All your mates think so too. They’re not taking the piss for no reason.
