Whatever your thoughts on The Bible, there’s no denying that it’s filled with some pretty mad capers. Feeding five thousand people with five loaves and two fish, for example? Jesus! Give us the recipe already. Talking snakes, making people out of clay; think of something really weird and you can bet your little finger that it’s happened in The Bible.

But, and it’s admittedly been a while since we’ve read the “good book” so don’t quote us on this, we can’t for the life of us remember anything in there about a man jumping his mountain bike over a parked helicopter and through a burning wall of fire.

Step forward: Mercury Morgan. He’s a Christian preacher, and he’s just pulled this absolutely wild stunt Stateside in order to show Jesus that, you know, he properly believes in him. Rather predictably, it has to be said, Mercury has dubbed the stunt his ‘Leap Of Faith.’
