Santa Has Ditched the Sleigh to Slay on a Mountain Bike… And He’s Looking Seriously Merry

Oh what fun it is to ride on a sunny, snow-filled day...

It’s almost Christmas Day! Which is very exciting news of course, and something that we’re guessing you’ve probably realised by now.

The festive jumpers are out in force, the Christmas music is unavoidable, and the film ‘Elf’ seems to be on every monitor you see despite the fact that it’s at best the 23rd best Christmas film in the history of the genre.

Of course, you’d think Santa would be busy this time of year; making the presents, wrapping the presents, working out a route that makes it geographically possible to visit every house in the world in one night and tidying up around the house to keep Mrs. Claus happy too.

But no. Absolutely not. Santa’s got his Elvish slaves to deal with all that work shit. The big man just kicks off on December 25 and does what he was born to do. He doesn’t need any preparation to do it and he certainly won’t be getting his hands dirty in the workshop – why do that when you can get everything dirty on the trails instead, in a non-dirty, mountain-bike related way that is.

That’s right, this year Santa, a reindeer and a select elf of choice who has been promoted from toy-making peasant to riding buddy have been killing it on the trails in the run up to Christmas. After all, tis’ the season to be jolly…
