Watch Gee Atherton Chase 400 Mountain Bikers Down A Hill in Northern Ireland

A two-time world champion vs. 400 riders with a 15-second head start...

400 mountain bikers taking on a trail in Rostrevor, County Down, Northern Ireland, with a 15 Seconds head-start. One two-time mountain bike world champion and all-around two-wheeled legend chasing them down the hill. It could only be Red Bull Fox Hunt.

The footage is out from the men’s event last weekend, where Ulster’s own Colin Ross crossed the line before Gee Atherton and 399 others to claim his second win in a row at the Fox Hunt event.

Gee himself didn’t manage to make the top 20, but he can take some solace in having passed 367 riders after starting 15 seconds back to finish 32nd in the field. Catch the highlights below. There are some pretty gnarly crashes…
