Watch: Nate Hills Hits The Ribbon in Moab on a Mountain Bike at Over 40mph

Make sure you're brakes are in tact before you start a run like this...

The Ribbon is a trail in Western Colorado, Grand Junction – a 1,500ft descent down sandy washes and long sections of flat slabs of rock that isn’t impossible to ride, but does make for one hell of speedy descent.

From the top of the route you roll down a huge slab of rock before being made to hop, weave and manoeuvre your way to the next part of the course. The transitions can be tricky, but you wouldn’t know it from this footage from Nate Hills – speeding down the track with Noah Sears at over 40mph.

The course is one of the most unique slickrock trails in Moab and it makes for one hell of a watch. Going for it yourself? Make sure your brakes are intact first… and send us the footage after!
