Darren Berrecloth is a legend in the world of mountain biking. From his freeride involvement at Red Bull Rampage in 2002 to his “360 heard around the world” at Crankworx Whistler in 2005, he’s been part of mountain biking evolution all the way.

So, who better to talk us through the evolution of the mountain bike itself and give an ode to the all-mountain bike, the choice of ride for so many budding shredders these days, than the very man himself.

Here’s a little bit of history and a whole lot of ripping from the man known around the world, simply as ‘The Claw’.
