Enduro Riders
Enduro Riders
This relatively new tribe is made up of graduates from a fair few of the others.
None of the other tribes particularly like or dislike this group, because it’s pretty much an amalgamation of all of them. They love a bit of downhill action up against the clock, but they like to go uphill too, as long as no-one’s got their stopwatch on of course.
Diversity might sound like a politically correct bingo win, but it’s just the way mountain bikers are!
These guys will be wearing the same thing they previously did when they rode downhill, cross-country or whatever else they used to do, just coloured in with a yellow highlighter and branded with the word ‘enduro’.
All in all though, diversity might sound like a politically correct bingo win, but in the world of mountain biking it’s just the way we are.
We’ve all adapted to what works for us. As the manufacturers have driven bicycle design we’ve adapted our riding styles, habits and kit to work, whether that’s racing, long days out on the hills, messing around in the woods or riding with family at trail centres.
The choice is yours; lycra or baggy, shaved legs or laid back attitude. Whatever you decide, your tribe awaits.
