The most prestigious event in the road cycling diary has returned for another year. After the fine people of Yorkshire got the ball rolling last year, the honour of staging the first shaved leg of le tour fell to Utrecht in the Netherlands this year.
Even aside from the monumental effort put in by the cyclists covering 3360 km over 21 stages, there’s enough politics, personal grudges, and not-so private battles going on this year to already have us hooked.
