Granted, this beautiful little corner of South West France may be 90 minutes away on a plane, and be geographically closer to Madrid than London, but when you have some of the best surfers to have ever graced a board that close to some, do you really need much more excuse to go and get a little bit of late summer sun?
Last years event saw a veritable who’s-who of the worlds very best, with the likes of Gabriel Medina, Kelly Slater, Josh Kerr, Mick Fanning, and John John Florence show up and compete, with the Hawaiian finishing in top spot.
