Tour de France
When
4th July to 26th July
Where
Utrecht, Netherlands
What
The most famous road race in the world returns for another year. After le Tour graced the UK, starting in Yorkshire in 2014, a new year sees a new location, and it’s the Dutch that get the honour.
After a short spell of British domination of the race, last year Italian rider Vincenzo Nibali broke the British stranglehold and took the yellow jersey back to Sicily.
Weeks of gruelling climbs, descents and sprints face the cyclists, as they race through the Netherlands, into Belgium, and ultimately around France, hitting the Champs Elysees on 26th July.
Will a Brit bring the glory back to the UK? Will Sir Brad and Chris Froome share a Happy Meal? We can’t wait to see what unfolds.
