Don’t like deep water? Look away now.

UK-born William Trubridge is one of the world’s best freedivers, smashing records for descending to the deepest depths without fins or breathing apparatus.

This video shows William’s attempt to reach 101m Constant Weight No Fins at Dean’s Blue Hole, Bahamas and beat a new world record. Just a single breath is all he takes for the full descent into the eerily dark depths of the ocean. It almost makes you want to hold your breath as he does it!

Keen to have a go yourself? William teaches people to freedive in France, Germany, Italy and the Bahamas with his school Vertical Blue!
