Lava is hot. Lava is really, really, hot. Lava is seriously flipping hot, man.

In actual fact, lava can reach temperatures of 1,200°C (yeah, it’s hot).

Now, most humans know that lava is extremely dangerous and that it’s wise to keep your distance when the hot orange stuff is flowing. Some people however, the more curious amongst our species, want to get up close and personal with lava. They want to put random objects in it, to see what mad shit happens. Here’s some classic video examples of that unique stream of curiosity in action.

1) Tin of Beef Ravioli

2) Hiking Boot

3) Phone

4) Coca Cola

5) iPad 2

6) Spam

7) Can of Monster
