I mean what do you do in situations like this?

A Lucky Escape

This pair of mountain bikers were out for a ride near the resort of Jasper when they were charged no fewer than three times by this massive female grizzly.

Luckily, the first biker managed to cut off the trail to safety, and the second had time to reach his bear spray. But it was too close for comfort…

Plucked from the Jaws of the Beast

In Chukotka in Russia’s far east, hungry polar bears started roaming the streets in 2011.

This woman, who was drunk at the time, was attacked while squatting down to have a piss next to the abandoned building the bears were living in.

We can only think the alcohol must’ve softened the bear’s blows because she gets badly mauled before a well-aimed vodka bottle chases the beast off.

Bear Turned Troll

This black bear looks like it’s just winding the joggers up in this video from Canada.

Apparently by backing off, these guys are doing exactly the opposite of what most animal experts recommend when meeting a bear.

They’re pretty lucky he eventually gets bored of their stinky chat…
