We stumbled across this video today and literally couldn’t believe what we were seeing. The description simply reads: “Russia, March 8th 2012 : Ivan’s parachute fails to open. The fall was not fatal, but he still did receive serious injuries.”

What’s insane is how unbothered his friend who’s filming appears to be about the whole incident.

If you listen carefully you can hear a faint shout from the bottom after he hits the ground, so he would’ve known Ivan wasn’t a goner. And according to some of Ivan’s friends who commented on the video the injuries “were not long term”.

But surely they couldn’t have known that at the time? Wouldn’t you expect more than a soft “pizdets” (“cunt” in Russian)?

Crazy.
