Brace yourselves GoPro lovers; this could make for a mentally scarring watch.
Action-sports camera masters GoPro are renowned for the seemingly unbreakable nature of their camera – when it’s in case/suit of armour that is.
But how does the GoPro stand up to a bit of a battering when it’s out of the case? And by ‘a bit of a battering’ we of course mean someone attempting to savagely burn the thing to dust at close range with a blowtorch.
Obviously.
A couple of years ago we brought you the footage of what happens when you hit a naked GoPro with a golf club, and while the thing eventually broke, it stood up a whole lot better than we thought.
We also know that in the case the GoPro can stand up to fire pretty well. They did take one of the cameras into a volcano for the launch of the GoPro HERO4 – something well worth a watch.
