What Happens When You Accidentally Catch A Great White Shark? These Guys Found Out…

These guys accidentally hooked a great white on the shore, and then risked their lives to save it

What do you normally watch while you’re eating your breakfast? Maybe another depressing story on the morning news, or possibly an awesome video of a bear chasing a mountain biker on Mpora.

Well, Lars Liedberg came across quite the spectacle when he was munching down his Corn Flakes the other day in South Africa, where he spotted a couple of fisherman wrestling with a great white shark on the shore nearby.

The fishermen had accidentally caught the baby Great White shark – a protected species…

With the fire of curiosity burning, he finished up his meal and bolted to the beach, where he discovered the two dudes had accidentally caught the baby shark – a protected species – and were now trying to get it back in the water.

Luckily, Lars was there to step in and do what any 21st century iPhone owner would; film all the drama instead of actually helping out so he could chuck it on his YouTube channel later.

After a lot of hard work, and the vocal-only encouragement of our good friend Lars, the fisherman did indeed manage to ‘Ctrl + Z’ their mistake and get the great white back in the water, where it’ll probably grow up to wreak horrible vengeance.

Be careful next time you’re out on the water, Lars. The great whites have you on their radar now, and they respect nothing but the look in their children’s eyes when they cry for the head of their captors.
