This Brutal Video Shows What Happens When World-Record Car Jumps Go Horribly Wrong

He attempted the longest ramp jump of all time... and ended up in a mind-blowing crash

Professional skier and rally driver Guerlain Chicheri recently attempted to beat the world record for longest ramp car jump ever. He failed in fairly mind-blowing style.

The jump took place much earlier in 2014, but this footage uploaded to the Outside Television YouTube channel a couple days back is really quite amazing.

Thankfully, we are able to report that Guerlain is safe and healthy despite this crazy crash – which is probably one of the gnarliest we’ve ever seen.

Seriously, give this video a watch right now. You’ll see that the car doesn’t quite get the trajectory it’s after, and then you’ll be treated to about 17 slow-motion shots, all from different angles, which show you how utterly f*cked the car and the driver are about to be.

You can also see in Guerlain’s eyes that he definitely knows it’s not gone to plan.

Rumour has it the team behind the jump forget to factor in the weight of Guerlain’s giant balls…

The resulting car crash is like something out of a James Bond film. Plenty of rolls, plenty of destruction and plenty of footage of the whole thing from every angle imaginable. It is, however, a magnificent advert for whoever made the rally driver’s seatbelt and safety gear.

Our best guess for why he didn’t stick the landing is that the team behind the jump forget to factor in the weight of Guerlain’s giant balls. Seriously, this is the craziest video you’ll probably see all year.
