These Guys Are Selling A Weather Storm You Can Put In Your Bedroom… But It’ll Cost You £2,200…

'Why does it always rain on me?' Because you bought an indoor storm cloud

Storms, when you get caught in them, can range from anywhere between annoying and downright terrifying. However, when you’re indoors, maybe wrapped up in bed, or relaxing on the sofa, there’s little as comforting as the sound of a good old storm blowing outside.

Whether it’s simple evolutionary smugness, or something a bit deeper than that, it’s a relatively rare occurrence, but an oh-so satisfying one.

It’s with this in mind that the folks at Richard Clarkson Design have created this crazy indoor storm cloud. Don’t worry, it’s not a real cloud. That would A) be a logistical nightmare to ship and B) make a mess of those questionable magazines you hide behind the wardrobe.

It’s actually an interactive lamp and speaker system that hangs from your ceiling and mimics the sights and sounds of a real thunder storm. Furthermore, you can also stream music and change the light colours, so you can switch from storms to Daft Punk, whenever you want.

It’s be amazing to rig up to your home cinema and watch Storm Surfers. However, costing over £2,200 a piece, you may be better off just opening the window and let that winter weather have the same effect.
