We’ve found this incredible footage captured by an adventurer who climbed into an active volcano.
George Kourounis and his team got a helicopter to the summit of the volcano situated among an archipelago in the South Pacific, hiked the remaining ascent, before rappelling towards the molten rock below. At one point, they were just 30 meters from the lava.
Luckily for us, Kourounis packed his camera, and captured this breath taking footage. He’s a specialist in photographing extreme forces of nature, and has a background in chasing twisters.
We would say don’t try this at home but, lets face it, you’re not going to.
