How many water balloons does it take to stop a bullet from a .44 Magnum? It’s the question that nobody has ever asked, and it’s the question that nobody has ever wanted answered – until now.
Luckily, National Geographic have stepped up to the plate and done the research to show just how many water balloons you would need to fend off a gun shot, and the answer is pretty damn surprising.
We’re not going to give out any spoilers, but it turns the number is surprisingly low. You probably worked that out before you even watched it though – after all, we wouldn’t be writing this article if that wasn’t the case.
The action all gets going two minutes and three seconds in. Pick your number, watch the clip, and prepare to get your science on.
