We’ve all been there. One beer turns to two beers, turns to three beers, turns to four beers. Before you know it you’ve had eighteen beers, and are on the verge of blacking out completely. Then you wake up; three hours later, completely naked, surrounded by trees. You’re not hurt, but you are slightly confused about the situation you find yourself in.
After six months of walking around the woods in the nude, trying in vain to find the footpath again, you decide to just embrace it all and accept that you’re now a forest-person destined to live outside forever. Heck. Maybe you get into dancing. You start dancing between trees, next to hedges, and up on mountain summits. You feel wild and free.
Then, out of nowhere, along comes a Swedish photographer and filmmaker called Bertil Nilsson. Bertil takes photos of you dancing around outdoors in your birthday suit, gathers all the images together, and then releases them as part of a series called “Naturally” as well as in a limited edition book (also called Naturally). When it’s all done, you think back to the night of the eighteen pints and try again to piece it all together.
