Steve-O, from that there tele-box programme Jackass, has been sent to jail for 30 days following the protest against Seaworld that he carried out over the summer. If you were a fan of Jackass back in the day you’ll probably know that Steve-O has done all manner of crazy things during his time. Crazy things like snorting wasabi, and stapling his own scrotum to his leg.

But Steve-O isn’t just about doing extremely painful stuff to himself, he’s also really into animal rights. And this, it’s fair to say, is what drove him to protest against the orca whale prison alternatively known as SeaWorld. His protest, if you’re not familiar with the story, involved Steve-O taking an inflatable orca with the words “SeaWorld sucks” written on it to the top of a 100ft crane in Hollywood. He also put on an unauthorised firework display (the cheeky scamp).
