These Russians Just Crashed Their Car Off A Bridge… But Couldn’t Give A Sh*t

Has Russia won the internet again?

Often in life, two largely unrelated things can be combined to create something infinitely greater than the sum of its parts. For example, instant noodles are good, as are cheese sandwiches, but an instant noodle and cheese sandwich is ambrosia. Cholesterol creating ambrosia.

Also on this list, among many others are, lager & sunshine, snowboarding & friendship, and having an empty house & Baywatch coming on TV. Perverts.

But we think a new perfect pairing has to be added: Russians and the internet.

This combination of massive country and endless resource really is the gift that keeps on giving. Not so long ago, we brought you the crazy Russian dude who set himself on fire before throwing himself off a nine story building into a tiny pile of snow.

…Just let that sink in for a second…

Now, we’ve just found this video of two Russian guys casually driving along the road. Our Russian isn’t quite what it used to be, so we can’t tell what they’re saying, although it is striking quite how much they sounds like galactic celluloid error Jar Jar Binks.

So far, so normal(ish), right? But 40 seconds in, our Russian heroes approach a bend in the road that banks on to a river. Do our nutty adventurers turn? Of course not. Instead, they test the structural integrity of the barrier, with hilarious, yet car ruining consequences.

And the best part? It’s as if they don’t really give a shit. You’d expect panicked cries of “Oh my God, Iouri, watch out for the briiii….” but there’s nothing of the kind. In fact, the only real reaction to accidentally turning their car into a boat is when they switch on the windscreen wipers. The horse has bolted, chaps.

We have no idea whether this is an accident or a planned piece of mischief, but either way, we love them for doing it. Hats off, fellas. Hats off.
