These Skydivers Were Almost Cut In Half By The Same Plane They Jumped Out Of… And They Got It All On GoPro

Two nearly die in Thai sky fly by

This tandem sky dive almost ended in tragedy for this pair of thrill seekers. The jump, believed to have happened in Thailand, started off perfectly normally, with the tourist strapped to the front of the more experienced diver.

However, within seconds, the lead diver points to something he can see in his peripheral vision.

It’s the plane they’ve just jumped from turning towards them.

Within seconds, the plane is within centimetres of the pair. It’s so close that a strap from the parachute hangs over the wing of the plane.

Any contact with the wing, including the blade of the propeller, would surely have resulted in a tragic fatality.

Almost as soon as it was there, the plane vanishes, continuing on it’s path. The passenger parachutist seems oblivious as to what’s just happened.

With the plane speeding away, the chute is pulled and the passenger either gives the “all good” sign, or illustrates how wide her sphincter is, following the near miss.

Clearly painfully aware of how close they’ve just flown to the reaper, the lead diver wipes mock-sweat from his brow.

Happily, both landed safe and sound, back on land just a few exhilarating seconds later.

It’s still a mystery why the plane took the course it did, heading towards the couple who just jumped out of the back. We like to think it’s all part of an Indiana Jones style plot to take an ancient Thai artefact out of the hands of some wronguns and put it safely in a New York museum.

Much more likely is the assumption that it was either pilot error, or an issue with the mechanics of the plane. Either way, all involved are now safe, and have one hell of a story to tell over the water cooler at work.
