Summer has finally arrived. The sun has decided, however, briefly to show its face, and transform normally cagouled Brits into short-wearing, lager drinking, park dwelling sun worshipers.

And what better way to cool off from all this sudden heat than an afternoon at a water park. No doubt David Salmon of Dallas, Texas thought the same thing, in a bid to escape in incessant heat of the Southern States.

However, he got more than he bargained for when he took to this fairly tame looking waterslide.

Next to the waterslide that he went flying off – leaping like a salmon, if you will – is reportedly a massive cliff. In the fall, David suffered a broken arm, fractured ribs, and lacerations to his torso. He’s not recovering well and posted the video online with the hashtag #NotDead .
