When most people slackline, they tend to set up between two trees, and not too high off the ground. It’s sensible, really. But that wasn’t good enough for these guys.
Lukas Irmler and Reinhard Kleindl crossed the magnificent Victoria falls in Zimbabwe on a slackline, battling poor visibility, a soaking wet line, oh, and that whole potential-massive-fall-onto-rocks thing.
The 91 meter crossing was two years in the planning, but after a couple of attempts, the pair finally crossed the 108meter high falls. it kind of beats the average park set-up, doesn’t it.
