Not exactly a Tour de France bike crash… but we couldn’t help including it. It’s a beauty.
This is the moment the Orica GreenEdge bus got trapped under the finish line on the first stage of the Tour de France in 2013, and a crazy crash with just 6km left brought down half the peloton.
The Tour de France organisers decided to move the finish to the 3km line just down the road, then the bus started reversing and the organisers reversed their decision as a result.
It was all a bit confusing. Poor Mark Cavendish wasn’t best pleased.
