A rogue climber reported to be named Stephen Rogata has gone all-out Mission Impossible and tried to make a first ascent of Trump Tower using suction cups.
Yup.

The NY Daily News report that Rogata is a climber from Virginia and was said to be carrying banners or some sort of message, presumably political, that he was planning to unveil at some point on the climb.
The climber did himself proud too, starting at 2:45 and pacing well up the tower. It’s said that if he had kept up his pace, he’d have reached the top of the tower by, err, 2am.
Needless to say, the NYPD prevented the amazing feat from being completed, seizing him on the 20th floor and yanking him over a balcony, where an excessive amount of officers were waiting to bring him in.
