Do you remember being 11 yeas old? More importantly, do you remember what you were doing when you were that age?
For us, it was pretty much a combination of pretending we were aeroplanes, worrying about Big School, and eating far too many bourbon biscuits.
Isamu Yamamoto, on the other hand, is a little bit different. The 11 year old already has a mastery over a skateboard that most regulation humans can only ever dream of.
Even if most of us spent 22 years trying to do what Isamu does, we’d just end up with permabruised shins, and broken ankles.
This kid is clearly a natural talent, and it’s going to be good watching here he takes it. Hopefully, the world of mega ramps and super vert will find a place for his amazing flatland skills.
The comparisons to Rodney Mullen have already been made, but we say this wonder kid isn’t the next Rod, he’s the first Isamu Yamamoto.
