It’s always funny when you look back at old fashions throughout the decades. A lot of the things that have been worn have also permeated through into skateboarding. In some cases skaters have started their own fashions – just think of Dill. It would be hard to argue that style isn’t an inherent part of skateboarding. Forgetting the functionality, skateboards have always developed alongside graphics. The aesthetic side of skateboarding has allowed for a whole industry of film-makers, photographers and graphic designers – all dedicated to capturing the people who look good on their skateboards. Wrongboards is a tumblr that asks for people to submit photos of people looking stupid on skateboards. It’s a very simple page with small, funny, sometimes scathing captions and a whole back catalog of funny pictures. The caption above the email is particularly funny.
