6 Dirt Cheap Ski Holidays For When The Mountains Are Calling But Your Bank Account Is Empty

Dust down your helmet and try on those salopettes , here's six of the cheapest deals out there this winter...

Skiers know all too well that the only downside to this wonderful hobby is the bottomless bank balance that’s required to fund it.

While some jammy people will already have flights booked for the New Year in Verbier and others are still being included in their family’s annual skiing holiday, for the majority of us, skiing holidays involve years of saving, often utilising seasonaire friends for their floor space or, if you’re lucky, a sofa if and when you get there.

But skiing in Meribel or Courchevel doesn’t have to be the preserve of the rich.

Check out these super cheap deals, dreams of shredding powder and dancing your ski socks off at après may be more in reach than you thought…

Whether you’ll be up in time for the first lifts or partying the night away, the location of this hotel could not be more dreamy, situated in the lively town centre and only one minute’s walk from the main gondola. Not bad for £113.

This two-week stint means that you will be able to fully unwind and explore the hotel’s never-ending leisure facilities.

Have a post-ski dip in the indoor pool, or relax your weary muscles with a massage in the spa. And when you’re done relaxing, the hotel’s restaurant, bowling alley and nightclub mean that you don’t even have to wrap up warm for a night in the town.
