Why we chose the Darn Tough Pennant Socks: Supportive, odour-resistant, durable
Sizes: M, L and XL
A pair of socks is a pair of socks… right? Well, not quite. There’s no point going out spending hundreds of pounds of your hard-earned cash on a pair of ski boots if you’re going to stuff your feet into a pair of tattered ski socks. A decent fitting pair of socks are going to transform the comfort levels of your ski boots, and your general comfort while you’re out skiing around the mountains. One of our favourite ever sock companies (yes, we’re that sad) is Vermont based Darn Tough socks.
Fabrics and Features
What are the ingredients for a good pair of socks then? Darn Tough have gone for a 60% nylon, 35% merino and 5% lycra mix. This combination creates a performance fit (thanks to the nylon and lycra) that resists slipping and bunching together while your feet are working hard to pressure your ski boots.

Next up is the merino which, if you’re unaware, works wonders thanks to its natural ability to move heat and moisture from your foot. This, in turn, helps to keep your feet warm and dry even during extremely cold spells.
