Indoor Wingsuit Flying is a new project opening in Stockholm, Sweden in September 2017, offering exactly what the name suggests – the opportunity to learn how to fly, without the risk.
At the moment, the fatality rate for skydiving is around one death per 100,000 jumps, which makes performing 17 jumps in a year roughly as dangerous as driving a car 10,000 miles in one year.
While of course all jumps and dives will differ in terms of challenge, the risks involved increase dramatically for BASE jumpers.
